Work Description and Responsibilities:

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring software quality in Information Systems’ projects. The QA engineer oversees all quality assurance (QA) activities throughout the project’s lifecycle and collaborates closely with the project leadership team to plan and execute QA activities. The ideal candidate must be proficient in our software testing methodologies, procedures, and testing tools.

The QA Engineer's responsibilities include:

1. Test Planning: Collaborate with project teams to understand testing requirements, develop strategies and plans for approval, and provide estimates and task lists for testing activities.
2. Test Analysis: Review project requirements and design specifications to derive testing needs, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
3. Test Design: Design test cases, procedures, and coverage based on project requirements, determining appropriate levels of test automation.
4. Test Case Creation: Develop manual or automated test cases and procedures from design specifications.
5. Testing: Execute testing activities according to test plans, verify results, and track defects accurately.
6. Project Metrics: Analyze metrics, develop reports, and present defect and testing information to management.

Must Have Skills:

Candidates should have experience in:

• Executing all QA and testing activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring thorough verification of results
• Executing test scripts of varying complexity across multiple projects
• Overseeing and executing test scripts, including environment setup and result verification
• Building and executing test automation scripts
• Reviewing project requirements and system designs to derive effective test strategies and plans
• Performing metric analysis and reporting on project defects
• Maintaining and updating test scripts and cases
• Understanding application design models, programming languages, and testing concepts

Special Qualifications:

Experience testing web and mobile applications on popular mobile device platforms is preferred.
