NextGen Coding Company is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance processes, with experience in industries leveraging full-stack web development, software development, APIs, and data engineering. Familiarity with technologies such as cloud computing, blockchain, computer vision, game development, and AI/ML is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure high-quality software products.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and identify potential risks or challenges.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing across various applications and platforms.
• Ensure API integrations function seamlessly by designing and executing detailed API testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard tools, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Automate test processes using tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability in testing workflows.
• Validate data pipelines, data transformations, and the accuracy of results in data engineering environments.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in QA tools and techniques, incorporating them into testing strategies.
• Provide detailed reports on testing progress, coverage, and outcomes, ensuring stakeholders are informed.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines, emphasizing quality gates and automated testing.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role in software development projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience working with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and validating data integrity in data engineering workflows.
• Basic knowledge of blockchain, AI/ML, computer vision, or game development technologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an analytical mindset to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
