Quality Assurance Engineer - Remote (f/m/d)

As a member of our QA team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the quality of our products, working with industry-standard tools, building test setups, and enhancing our automation framework. Experience with telco test equipment, IMS, LTE networks, and related protocols is ideal.

We are seeking a remote Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) to work with technologies such as 4G, LTE, Transport networking, TCP/UDP, VoIP, Video/IP protocols, and cloud platforms like Docker/Kubernetes.

Tasks

• Participate in System Testing: Plan, perform, and execute various testing activities, including exploratory, pre-planned, and automated testing across functional, non-functional, and load aspects.
• Automated Testing: Develop and execute automated test cases for our IMS using simulation tools.
• Problem Analysis and Debugging: Analyze and debug issues across complex solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Automated Test Execution: Write and run automated tests using our in-house framework and tools such as SIPp, IxLoad, and Seagull.
• Quality Assurance and Regression Testing: Own the product testing process, ensuring quality and readiness of new and existing features.
• Framework Development and Debugging: Contribute to our Python-based testing framework.
• Process Improvement: Continuously refine testing processes, concepts, and solutions to drive innovation and efficiency.

Requirements

• Solid experience in Software Quality Assurance, both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in test automation, load testing, end-to-end testing, and regression testing.
• Experience setting up and configuring test environments.
• Programming and scripting skills in Python and Bash.

Nice To Have

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of modern testing approaches like context-driven, rapid, and session-based testing.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Telecommunications industry experience, especially with signaling standards like SIP and Diameter.
• Familiarity with industry-specific tools like SIPp and API testing tools such as Postman.
