Job summary

True Rx Health Strategists is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in automation and business processes. You will design and maintain automated testing frameworks, create functional and end-to-end tests, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define testing strategies.

Hybrid/fully remote options are available, with a focus on improving quality across the organization. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of QA experience, strong automation skills

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts for validation.
• Create and execute functional, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability.
• Expand automation coverage for high-risk business processes.
• Validate business rules and system workflows via automation.
• Analyze results, identify defects, and provide recommendations.
• Develop realistic test data reflecting real-world scenarios.
• Report quality metrics and automation effectiveness.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders on testing strategies.
• Participate in planning, requirements reviews, and UAT readiness.
• Communicate outcomes and risks clearly to teams.
• Maintain test case and framework documentation.
• Support training and knowledge sharing across teams.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to support application and business process validation
• Create and execute functional, regression, and end-to-end test cases
• Monitor automated test pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve test reliability
• Expand automation coverage for high-risk and high-volume business processes
• Validate business rules and system workflows through automated testing
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide actionable recommendations
• Develop and manage realistic test data that reflects real-world business scenarios and edge cases
• Report on quality metrics, trends, and automation effectiveness
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define testing strategies and acceptance criteria
• Participate in project planning, requirements reviews, and user acceptance testing readiness activities
• Communicate testing outcomes and potential risks clearly to project teams and leadership
• Maintain documentation for test cases, automation frameworks, and quality standards
• Support training efforts and knowledge sharing across teams
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, test automation, or a related discipline
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, or comparable technologies
• Experience working with SQL and data validation techniques
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
