Quality Assurance Coordinator – Food Manufacturing

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and maintain food safety programs (HACCP, GMP, SSOP, Food Defense).
• Oversee lab testing and inspect raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished products.
• Conduct daily quality control and analyze trends to drive improvements.
• Coordinate training on food safety, hygiene, and allergen control.
• Lead and support audits (FDA, SQF, customer) and manage corrective actions.
• Investigate customer complaints and product deviations with root cause analysis.
• Manage quality documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, or related field.
• 4+ years in food manufacturing quality assurance.
• Experience with audits, documentation control, and corrective actions. SQF certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO, GMP, FDA, and USDA standards.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and an effective communicator.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, multicultural environments and hot production settings.
