Job summary

Daniel Defense is seeking a Quality Coordinator I to join the Quality Assurance team in our Operations division. You will conduct audits on manufacturing processes, record variances, and support corrective actions to ensure adherence to standards and work instructions.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years in quality, knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, GD&T and metrology, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of quality experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, metrology equipment and gaging.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits on manufacturing processes, completed firearms, and international shipments to ensure compliance with standards and work instructions.
• Record variances, follow up on corrective actions, and create Quality Alerts.
• Participate in daily shift meetings and Material Review Board processes.
• Maintain and update departmental quality procedures and visual standards.
• Monitor non-conformance activity and assist production with problem solving.
• Investigate deviations and support corrective action planning.
• Lead and demonstrate commitment to health and safety principles and company values.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
• Other responsibilities as deemed by management.
