UTMC, a long-standing leader in refrigerated semi-trailers, seeks a Quality Assurance Coordinator for its City of Industry, CA headquarters. This on-site role requires travel to factories in VA, Utah, Arkansas, Alabama and Mexico for about two weeks each month.
You will audit, document, and enforce quality standards across production. Ideal candidates have a manufacturing/engineering degree, strong mechanical aptitude, and expertise in Lean Six Sigma and data analysis.
UTMC, a family-owned 100 plus year-old company, is the long-term industry leader in refrigerated semi-trailers and North America’s fourth largest semi-trailer manufacturer with six manufacturing factories - five in various states within the United States and one in Mexico -- and a research and development facility in California. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator. This is an on-site position based at UTMC's headquarters in the City of Industry, CA and requires travel for approximately two weeks each month.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Regularly exercises discretion and the ability to prioritize workload.
Lean Six Sigma certification a plus but not required.

The ability to work in confined, restricted, or tight spaces is required. The employee must occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing between 10 and 30 pounds and may be required to move heavier items with appropriate equipment or assistance. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to inspect equipment and identify potential issues. The employee may also be exposed to varying environmental and weather conditions while working indoors and outdoors.

Salary Range: $72,385 to $79,230 annually
