Fair Oaks Foods is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead QA activities on the production floor, ensuring compliance with QMS, HACCP, and GFSI standards. As the Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for quality assurance aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure that processes and procedures follow customer, regulatory, and corporate requirements. The Quality Assurance Supervisor provides leadership and expertise in quality assurance processes and tools. You will directly supervise hourly employees in a manufacturing environment, be responsible for training and development, performance review, audit/regulatory compliance, and execution/oversight of quality related tasks and documentation on the floor.
Work is performed in a manufacturing and office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. Must be able to lift 50lb and must have knowledge of computers and be proficient in word and Excel. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, couch, or crawl, talk or hear as defined below.
