Job summary

TMI Climate Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Coordinator to support product and process excellence at our Mesquite, TX site. You’ll maintain quality standards, inspect materials and finished goods, and drive Lean and CI initiatives across cross-functional teams.

The role requires a strong background in manufacturing quality, Lean, and continuous improvement, with the ability to analyze data and train others in quality tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, Lean, or CI, in a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support product and process excellence by maintaining quality standards and documentation.
• Inspect materials, in-process product, and finished goods against standards.
• Lead or support Lean and CI initiatives (5S, value stream mapping, Kaizen).
• Coordinate root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions.
• Track quality data, KPIs, defects, and trends; report findings to leadership.
• Provide training and guidance on quality tools and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements across site.
• Participate in internal and external audits related to quality.
