Job summary

TRDI Incorporated seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead contract quality control efforts, serve as the official QC point of contact with the Government, and authorize resource allocation to meet contract requirements.

The role directs audits, process validation, corrective actions, and QA documentation, while coordinating with operations, safety, and engineering to sustain product quality and compliance with EM 385-1-1 and applicable standards.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes quality control objectives by recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and enforcing policies.
• Contributes to strategic plans by analyzing and implementing action plans to raise quality and customer service.
• Manages budget by estimating requirements, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances.
• Develops quality plans by hazard analyses, critical control points, limits, monitoring, and verification.
• Validates processes by establishing specs, measuring production, and updating QA procedures.
• Maintains product quality via audits, investigations of complaints, and improvement collaboration.
• Prepares quality reports by collecting data and summarizing trends.
• Maintains safety programs and OSHA/EM 385-1-1 compliance.
• Obtains and maintains required security clearance; adheres to Drug-Free Workplace requirements.
• Presents field information to prepare estimates for changes to contract.
• Executes inspections and logs as required by the contract.
• Other tasks as directed by Director of Operations or Project Manager.
