Job summary

Mission.dev is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to own end-to-end testing for its security operations platform. You will build robust UI and API automation, maintain scalable test frameworks, and contribute to reliable CI/CD pipelines across an international team.

You will leverage C#, .NET 8, Selenium WebDriver, NUnit, and REST testing to validate complex JSON responses and ensure product quality for security professionals worldwide.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated UI test suites using Selenium WebDriver and C#.
• Design and execute REST API tests validating JSON payloads.
• Build and scale test automation frameworks with Page Object Model.
• Manage test data lifecycles and Cleanup processes.
• Isolate and troubleshoot flaky tests to stabilize CI/CD.
• Implement asynchronous and parallel testing to reduce execution time.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate tests into deployment workflows.

About the Role

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will drive quality for a mission-critical security operations platform. You will take ownership of the end-to-end testing lifecycle, focusing on both UI and API automation. Working within an international team environment, you will build and maintain robust test frameworks that ensure the reliability of high-scale systems. What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain automated UI test suites using Selenium WebDriver and C#.
• Design and execute comprehensive REST API tests, validating JSON payloads and authentication protocols.
• Build and scale test automation frameworks utilizing the Page Object Model.
• Manage test data lifecycles, including complex setup and cleanup processes.
• Identify, isolate, and troubleshoot flaky tests to ensure reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement asynchronous and parallel testing strategies to optimize execution time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate automated testing into deployment workflows.

What You Bring

• Professional experience in software quality automation.
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework, specifically .NET 8.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and NUnit for UI testing.
