Our client, located in Arizona, is looking for a Test Automation Engineer for a 6+ month contract with the potential for hire (Must be a US Citizen).
Note:
- This is a contract-to-hire role; candidates must be able to convert with the client after 6 months.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Security Clearance.
- This is a remote role; candidates must reside in one of the following states: AZ, AK, AR, CO, FL, HI, IA, ID, IL, KS, LA, MD, MN, MO, MT, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OK, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA/DC, WA, WI, WY.
- W2 only; No Corp-to-Corp/3rd party arrangements.
Must-have Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years of testing automation experience (including driving automation from scratch, advising on best practices, building frameworks, and implementation).
- 2+ years of experience with Katalon Studio.
- At least 4+ years of Selenium and Java.
- 3+ years of API testing (RestAPI preferred).
- 2+ years of SQL backend testing (queries, joins, tables).
- Healthcare or government background is a plus.
- Security clearance or ability to obtain one is highly desirable; client will cover costs.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Build and lead test automation frameworks from the ground up, establish best practices and tools.
- Mentor QA team members and lead automation initiatives.
- Promote automation adoption to senior leadership and demonstrate ROI for organizational expansion.
- Communicate effectively with leaders and stakeholders.
- Develop QA standards and testing strategies for new and existing applications throughout their lifecycle.
- Assess current automation practices and develop new strategies to increase test coverage.
