Forte Group is seeking an experienced SDET (Automation QA Engineer) to own automated test strategy and mentor junior engineers within an Agile Scrum framework. You will develop and maintain UI and API automation via Playwright, TypeScript, and Node.js, and ensure test execution is integrated into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Strong collaboration across global teams is required. Mandatory knowledge includes functional, integration, regression, smoke, and API testing.

Qualifications

• Practical experience building and maintaining UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience setting up, configuring, and maintaining automated test execution pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Solid foundational knowledge of software testing methodologies (Functional, Integration, Regression, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing) and API testing concepts.

Responsabilités

In this role, you will join a modern engineering environment at Forte, collaborating across international teams to deliver robust enterprise digital solutions. You will work within a hybrid cloud infrastructure featuring Azure Cloud and MS SQL backends, ensuring software quality across enterprise web applications built on ASP.NET Core and modern Angular front-ends.

As a SDET (Automation QA Engineer), you will contribute to its success by taking ownership of the automated test strategy, actively analyzing requirements, facilitating pull request reviews, and mentoring junior colleagues within an Agile Scrum framework.

• Develop, maintain, and execute end-to-end automated test suites and scenarios using Playwright with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Integrate and support automated test execution within continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Perform thorough requirements analysis, design initial test assets (test cases and scenarios), and provide detailed quality reporting on test runs.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience setting up, configuring, and maintaining automated test execution pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Solid foundational knowledge of software testing methodologies (Functional, Integration, Regression, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing) and API testing concepts.

Nice to Have Skills

• Familiarity with database testing using MS SQL and backend frameworks such as ASP.NET Core WebAPI.
• Exposure to frontend technologies like Angular and UI component libraries (DevExtreme, DevExpress).
• Hands-on knowledge of version control and collaboration tools like Azure DevOps Git, Confluence, and MS Teams.

Qualifications

• Practical experience working in an Agile Scrum software development lifecycle with active participation in sprint ceremonies.
• Strong collaboration skills with a willingness to guide and mentor junior engineering colleagues.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional and global teams.
