Job summary

Bodycote plc, based in Andover, MA, seeks a Quality Assistant to support the Quality Manager and ensure customer requirements are met. The role focuses on documentation review and certification preparation prior to shipment within a safety-sensitive environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 6 months+ in thermal processing or related fields, and strong English communication. Overtime, potential shift work, and a comprehensive benefits package accompany a $25–$36/hr pay range.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills for dealing with customers and staff.
• Precision and attention to detail in documentation and audits.
• ITAR compliance requirements for U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
• Ability to read/write English and basic math.
• Experience with standard computer applications and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes all submitted documentation prior to shipment of customer parts.
• Prepares and completes certifications prior to shipment; corrects certs as needed.
• Maintains quality system database with knowledge of ISO 9000/AS9100.
• Performs internal audits as required.
• Assists Quality Manager and performs other duties as assigned.
