Job summary

Jones Dairy Farm in Fort Atkinson, WI is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to audit production and sanitation practices, collect samples, and verify packaging and operating procedures meet USDA standards. You will work with production teams and QA leadership to ensure compliance and accuracy in documentation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing QA, proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Related work experience in a food manufacturing environment or QA setting.
• Familiarity with USDA and HACCP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• High level of accuracy and organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Audits production and sanitation practices and procedures throughout the plant.
• Collects assigned chemical, microbiological and/or environmental samples.
• Examine packaging and monitor operating practices to ensure compliance with company and USDA standards.
• Performs product checks to ensure specifications are met and issues reports.
• Places and releases QA holds.
• Interacts professionally with production staff, government representatives, and management.
• Performs special projects as assigned.
• Supports QA Director and QA Supervisor as needed.
