Job summary

Foot Locker, Inc. seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst to join the Junction City, KS distribution center. You will help shape quality standards across the distribution network, ensuring alignment with top vendors and delivering reliable product quality for our brands.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years combined experience in quality assurance and inventory control.
  • Six Sigma green belt or higher.
  • Proven track record of implementing inventory control initiatives that resulted in improved accuracy, efficiency, and cost savings.
  • Demonstrated ability to own projects, think big, and influence across all levels of the organization, including presentations to Executive leadership team and board of directors.
  • Detail- and quality-oriented with experience developing quality standards and standardizing SOPs.
  • Able to operate with sound reasoning and judgement coupled with a high level of resourcefulness.
  • Experienced in working with complex data to perform statistical analysis and analyze root causes to make data-driven decisions for the implementation of long-term solutions that improve operational outcomes and process control.
  • Strong foundation of mathematical and analytical principles.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time domestically across the United States
  • Leadership experience with continuous improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and own QA policies across the DC network in line with key vendors.
  • Provide analytics to standardize inventory QA and boost customer product satisfaction.
  • Track NA QA KPIs and support ICQA Ops Managers to meet targets.
  • Analyze QA data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions.
  • Lead quality audits at facilities to validate procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendor relations to improve product quality for stores.
  • Partner with Finance to develop a total cost of quality and report to VP.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve cost of quality and customer satisfaction for e-commerce.
  • Benchmark with peers and drive continuous improvement strategies.
  • Provide oversight of QA programs essential to supply chain.
  • Drive proactive change management across teams affected by changes.

We are looking for aQuality Assurance Analystto join the team at our Junction City, KSdistribution center. This is not remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Support developing, implementing, and owning all quality assurance policies, procedures, and expectations across the entire distribution center network to ensure standards are in alignment with all of our key vendors (i.e. Nike, Adidas, Puma, New Balance, Converse)
  • Provide analytics to help standardize inventory quality assurance to improve customer product satisfaction scores as well as protect the Foot Locker brand
  • Track North American KPIs for quality assurance and support each site's ICQA Operations Managers to ensure they are achieving expectations
  • Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions within our incoming inspections and product return processes
  • Help lead quality audits at each facility to validate each site is adhering to established procedures
  • Collaborate with vendor relations team to provide consistent feedback to vendors to continue to improve product quality for retail stores
  • Partner with Finance to develop a total cost of quality to include rework, scrap, return to vendor, and any other cost related to non-conforming product to provide reporting up to the Vice President of Supply Chain Operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a significant improvement in total cost of quality and customer satisfaction scores for e-commerce orders
  • Benchmark with other best-in-class retailers and innovate strategy and technologies to drive continuous improvement
  • Provide direct oversight of various quality assurance programs essential to supply chain
  • Drive proactive change management to all levels of the team impacted by process change

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $70,000 - $80,000 / yr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
