Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Mississippi seeks a Quality Assurance professional to support daily operations, ensuring quality standards and driving improvements in manufacturing processes.

You will perform in-process and final product acceptance based on AQL sampling, coordinate process improvements with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations, and assist auditor efforts as needed. A HS diploma is required; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Prior QA auditing experience is required.
  • Record of passing HPS QA Test is required.
  • Experience with SAP systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final product acceptance based on AQL sampling.
  • Coordinate process improvement activities with work order and Manufacturing Engineering/Operations as required.
  • Assist or coordinate auditor efforts in other areas as required.
  • Keep management apprised of progress and obstacles that affect objectives.
  • Understand plant policies and environment regarding safety, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor QA and Production performance as defined in foundry control plans.

Quality Assurance is responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring quality standards are being met, and improving the manufacturing process by removing waste and change.

  • Performing in-process and final product acceptance based on AQL sampling.
  • Coordinating process improvement activities with work order; drawing changes with Mfg. Engineering and Operations as required.
  • Willing to assist or coordinate auditor efforts in other areas as required.
  • Keeping management apprised of progress and obstacles that constrain attainment of company objectives.
  • Understanding the plant policies and environment as it pertains to the safety of employees, operation of equipment, handling of equipment, and materials.
  • Understanding and monitoring QA and Production performance as defined in foundry control plans.
