Job summary

The Kinetic Group in Anoka, MN is seeking a Quality Associate (Gunner) to measure and control quality levels for in-process components and finished products using gages, ballistic test equipment, and PC-based data collection. You will support QA, Manufacturing, Tech Services, and Product Development with written reports.

The role requires strong documentation, interpersonal skills, and familiarity with firearms; reporting to the QA Supervisor, with a night shift and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Accurate documentation and safe procedure adherence are essential.
• Experience with Word and Excel and firearms familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and control quality levels using gages and ballistic test equipment.

Job Description

As the Quality Associate (Gunner), you will be responsible for measuring and controlling quality levels of both in-process components and finished product by utilizing existing gages, computerized data collection equipment, ballistic test equipment and personal computers. Provide technical support and written reports to Quality, Manufacturing, Technical Services, and Product Development staff. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor and is based out of our Anoka Location.

Shift and Hours

SHIFT Q: 6:00pm-6:00am Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday plus OT as needed. Training will be held on 1st shift for the first 8 weeks.

• Experience in a quality control/product validation position

Work Environment

Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.

Pay and Salary

Pay Range: $24.62 - $35.77 The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
