Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced LOB Quality Architect with deep domain expertise in Home Loans, Mortgage Servicing, Default Management, Collections, and Auto Finance. The role focuses on defining and executing enterprise-quality engineering strategies across processes, integrations, and regulatory requirements to deliver superior outcomes.

• Deep domain expertise in Home Loans, Mortgage Servicing, Default Management, Collections, and Auto Finance.
• Strong experience with risk-based test design and data reconciliation.
• Ability to define enterprise-level quality engineering strategies across regulated financial services.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement end-to-end Quality Engineering strategies for Home Loans, Mortgage Servicing, Collections, and Auto Finance platforms.
• Develop enterprise-wide quality frameworks, test governance standards, and quality metrics.
• Design risk-based testing approaches aligned with regulatory requirements and business priorities.
• Establish test architecture standards for functional, integration, data, and end-to-end testing.
• Define and implement risk-based testing methodologies.
• Prioritize testing efforts based on business impact, regulatory exposure, customer experience, and operational risk.
• Identify critical business scenarios and high-risk integrations.
• Develop comprehensive test coverage matrices and traceability models.

We are seeking an experienced LOB Quality Architect with deep domain expertise in Home Loans, Mortgage Servicing, Default Management, Collections, and Auto Finance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and executing enterprise-level quality engineering strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage across business processes, integrations, regulatory requirements, and customer journeys.

The role requires strong expertise in risk-based test design, business process validation, data reconciliation, integration testing, and quality governance within highly regulated financial services environments. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, and testing organizations to establish scalable quality practices and ensure superior customer and business outcomes.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

Quality Architecture & Strategy
