Smurfit WestRock, a leader in sustainable packaging, is seeking an EHS & Quality Manager for our Lakeland, FL facility. This dual role oversees all Quality functions and serves as the site’s Safety Leader.
You will ensure that product and process quality meets Customer, Regulatory and company standards, lead audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
The position reports to the General Manager and requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of quality or safety leadership in manufacturing.

The EHS & Quality Manager is a dual-responsibility role with primary accountability for leading and overseeing all Quality functions within the facility, while also serving as the site’s Safety Leader.
In the Quality capacity, this role ensures that all product and process quality standards are consistently met and maintained. This includes understanding, implementing, and enforcing Customer, Regulatory, and Smurfit WestRock processes, policies, and procedures. The EHS & Quality Manager will lead internal and external complaint resolution, manage and execute audits, and support efficient, compliant, and smooth operations throughout the production facility.
As a Safety Leader, this role leads and motivates employees to cultivate a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) excellence. This includes mitigating risks, preventing accidents and illnesses, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting safe, environmentally responsible behaviors integrated into daily operations.
This critical dual-function role reports directly to the site’s General Manager.
