Job summary

Electric Machinery Company, a division of WEG Electric Corp., in Minneapolis, Minnesota, seeks a Quality Analyst / Process Improvement to oversee the development, implementation, and improvement of the quality system. The role focuses on documentation, traceability, and enhancing product reliability across the organization.

You will lead internal audits, manage nonconformities, monitor KPIs, collaborate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Planning, and support supplier quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience with quality control software and QMS.
• Knowledge of reading drawings and GD&T symbols.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office.
• Familiarity with quality tools and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support QMS implementation and maintenance per ISO 9001.
• Maintain procedures, manuals, and document controls.
• Conduct internal audits and track corrective actions.
• Analyze nonconformities, complaints, and data for root cause.
• Monitor quality KPIs and trends to identify improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Review orders, drawings, specs to ensure quality compliance.
• Maintain inspection plans, records and traceability.
• Support calibration and metrology controls.
• Support supplier quality activities and supplier audits.
