Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Cranberry Township, PA, is seeking a Quality Analyst to support QEHS software, develop workflows, and create dashboards. You will troubleshoot issues, perform testing, and contribute to audits and change management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT experience, up to 3 years in IT software, and skills in SQL, Power BI, Visual Basic, with Python/Powe rAutomate preferred. This is a hybrid position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Visual Basic programming; Python and Power Automate are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to QEHS software tickets and troubleshoot issues.
• Define software requirements and develop workflows with guidance.
• Develop reports for Qualitech software users and create Power BI dashboards.
• Write SQL queries to support workflows and reports.
• Perform software testing across development, QA and production environments.
• Participate in Internal Quality Audits and change management planning.
• Demonstrate system changes to impacted teams.
• Provide programming support using Visual Basic and other languages.
• Assist with document/records management and corrective action processes.
• Analyze data for trends and develop actions to close gaps.

About the role:

As a Quality Analyst you will perform a variety of information technology activities and support Quality Program activities within the Corporate Quality Organization. This will include developing workflows, creating reports and dashboards, troubleshooting software issues, and analyzing data for trending, internal auditing, records management, and corrective action program processes. You will report to the Manager, Global CAP Technology and work at our Cranberry Township, PA site. Hybrid Work Schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to software tickets associated with QEHS software by troubleshooting issues and proposing corrections to resolve the issue.

Work with process owners to define software requirements and develop workflows in the Qualitech software or other EHS software with guidance.

Develop specialized reports for users for the Qualitech software system.

Create PowerBi dashboards that allow users to pull data sets for reports and trending,

Write SQL commands to support workflows and reports.

Prepare test plans and perform software testing within the development, quality, and production environments before rolling out software changes to our organization.

Participate in Internal Quality Audits.

Prepare change management plans that define the purpose of software changes and the benefits to our organization.

Provide demonstrations to impacted team members on how the systems will work.

Perform visual basic programming and other programming languages to support request/resolve issues.

Perform tasks as requested that support Corporate-owned quality processes such as document/records management, self-assessments, corrective action program.

Help analyze data for trending and help to develop action plans to close identified gaps.

Communicate with all levels of personnel within the organization to respond to questions or present upcoming software changes.

Support projects that deal with process optimization.

Identify and own issues that require corrective actions with assistance from group

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's Degree in Information technology, Engineering preferred.

No experience required, up to 3 years of experience working with IT software preferred.

Working knowledge of writing SQL, Power BI, and visual basic programing. Other programing experience such as Power Automate and Python preferred.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $54,000 to $67,500 per year.
