Hirecracker Education is recruiting a Qualified Teaching Assistant (Year 4) for a Primary School in Ellesmere Port. You will support pupils across the classroom as well as 1-1 and small groups, helping them thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with staff, pupils and parents.

Responsibilities

• Be hands-on in the classroom, ensuring every child feels encouraged and included.
• Work with the class teacher to keep lessons running smoothly and pupils focused.
• Provide 1-1 or small group support to boost confidence.
• Encourage positive behaviour and celebrate achievements, big and small.
• Help create a fun, engaging learning environment where pupils feel safe and ready to learn.
• Support pupils’ wellbeing as well as learning.

Salary: Daily pay rate up to £130 (paid weekly)
Contract: Full-time, long-term role with strong temp-to-perm potential
