Job summary

Macon Resources Inc is seeking a qualified QMHP for a full-time, on-site role at our Decatur campus. The position supports adults with intellectual disabilities through behavioral health services, assessments, and treatment planning.

Qualifications

• Must meet Illinois QMHP requirements.
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Minimum 1 year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or dual diagnosis (DD/MI).
• Strong understanding of developmental disabilities, mental illness, and person centered treatment.
• Ability to make sound clinical decisions and adapt in fast changing situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid Illinois driver's license, reliable transportation, and required auto insurance.
• Ability to complete CPR/First Aid certification and required agency training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and diagnostic assessments using standardized tools.
• Develop, update, and monitor Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans (IATP).
• Provide outpatient behavioral health services including therapy, counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and community supports.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust treatment goals.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in electronic records.
• Work collaboratively with individuals served, families/guardians, staff, and community providers.
• Support regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and staff training initiatives.
• Ensure confidentiality, safety standards, and ethical clinical practices are followed.
