Job summary

Vivera Senior Living of Jeffersonville in Jeffersonville, IN seeks a part-time Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) for the 2nd shift to provide individualized resident care per care plans and report changes to the clinical team.

The ideal candidate holds a High School diploma or GED, Indiana QMA certification, and demonstrates exceptional communication with residents, families, and staff with compassion and dignity.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must hold certification indicating successful completion of Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) program in the State of Indiana
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
