Vintage Gardens, a Sonida Senior Living community in St. Joseph, MO, is seeking a qualified Medication Aide to join our team caring for residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.

Qualificações

• Must be licensed as Medication Aide in Missouri.
• Current, active, and unencumbered licensure is required.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians.
• Provide personal hygiene and comfort measures for residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living and meals.
• Monitor vital signs, weight, urine tests, and intake/output.

Medication Aide Responsibilities Include

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
