Job summary

Developmental Foundations is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) in Decatur, IL, to oversee care plans and support adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.

You will work with a team including CILA supervisors, nursing, and clinical staff to ensure high-quality clinical services, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness while maintaining compassionate, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plans of care for adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
• Assist adults with developmental disabilities with daily living and behavioral support.
• Collaborate with CILA supervisors, nursing, and clinical staff to maintain high-quality clinical services while ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Since 1986, our family-owned company has managed neighborhood group homes for individuals with developmental disabilities. As a QIDP, you will assist adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting by overseeing plans of care. You will receive support from CILA supervisors, nursing, and clinical staff, as you help to maintain the culture of delivering excellent clinical services while assuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field (sociology, special education, psychology, other), from a four-year college or university; AND at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Must pass a criminal background check.
