Job summary

My Life My Home is seeking a QIDP/Site Leader to provide and ensure supports for residents with intellectual/developmental disabilities in Illinois. You will train and supervise Direct Support Professionals, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while delivering person-centered care.

The role includes managing 8–10 residents, on-call duties, and a focus on a mission-driven team environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year of direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Special Education, Psychology or related field or RN license.
• Preference for at least 1 year of management experience and 1 year as a certified DSP.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 8–10 residents.
• Train, coach, and supervise Direct Support Professionals to ensure quality supports.
• Ensure compliance with current standards, policies, safety, and state/federal regulations.

My Life My Home manages eight Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILA) throughout St. Clair and Clinton Counties in Illinois. The individuals with disabilities who reside at the CILAs are provided daily supports from a team of dedicated QIDPs, nurses, and Direct Support Professionals.

A QIDP/Site Leader provides and ensures all necessary supports and services are being provided to the individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities who reside in the community. In addition, they train, coach, and supervise Direct Support Professionals to ensure the highest quality of individual card support are being maintained at all times. Additional responsibilities include, assuring compliance with current standards of practice, company policies and procedures, safety, Federal and State regulations. This position would be responsible for a caseload of approximately 8-10 residents. This position is responsible for supporting our mission in their interactions with residents, team members, vendors & community members.

Requirements

Must have at least one year of experience working directly with individuals with a developmental disability. In addition, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Special Education, Psychology, or other closely related human services field or be a licensed Registered Nurse. Other degrees and professional licenses/certificates may be considered if they meet the requirements set forth by the Illinois Department of Human Services – Division of Developmental Disabilities QIDP Job and Education Requirements Checklist. Prefer at least 1 year management experience and 1 year experience as a certified DSP. Must be 21 years or older and have a valid driver's license with less than 3 driving offenses. A criminal background check and physical is required to meet requirements of the position. The background check includes the DCFS/CANTS check for abuse/neglect with children. You must also be able to complete and meet requirement of a reading and comprehension quiz.
