Job summary

Apex Bridge Talent Group is seeking an experienced Qualification Test Engineer for a direct-hire, hybrid role in Everett, WA. The candidate should be able to travel to customer sites as required and have client-side experience in aerospace programs.

Responsibilities include reviewing QTPs and QTRs, developing system requirements and interface documentation, and ensuring DO-160 conformity across test articles and setups.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of qualification testing experience on aircraft components.
• Experience in Boeing or commercial aircraft programs.
• Experience developing system requirements and interface documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve Qualification Test Procedures (QTP).
• Review Qualification Test Reports (QTRs).
• Prepare test plans, procedures, and test reports for qualification activities.
• Ensure DO-160 compliance in test set-ups and documentation.

Business Title: Qualification Test Engineer

Job Type: Direct hire

Work Setting: Hybrid, please look for candidates in Everett, WA, or nearby locations who can travel to the customer onsite whenever required. Preference should be given to local candidates or those within commuting distance

Note: Must have THE CLIENT experience, is a plus.

Design and integration of:

• Flight Management System (FMS), Autopilot and Flight Guidance System (AFDS), Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS), Crew Alerting System (EICAS), Head-Up Display (HUD), Multi-Function Displays (MFD), Navigation Systems (GPS, IRS, DME, VOR), Communication Systems (VHF, HF, SATCOM), Aircraft Information Management Systems, Data Loading and Maintenance Systems

Qualification Testing Support:

• Review of Qualification Test Procedure (QTP),
• Well versed with test article and test setup conformity
• Review of Qualification Test Reports (QTRs)
• Well versed with DO-160

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in: Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• 8+ years of Qualification testing experience of aircraft components.
• Experience in Boeing or commercial aircraft programs.
• Experience developing system requirements and interface documentation.

Technical Skills:

• Requirements Management Tools: DOORS
• Good Knowledge of ITRACS and PR process
• Experience on Flight Deck is an added advantage
