Job summary

Central Steel & Wire, part of the Ryerson Family of Companies, seeks an Outside Sales Account Manager to manage and grow transactional business across the Quad Cities region. You will nurture relationships with purchasing decision makers and coordinate with internal teams to meet customer objectives.

The role requires 3–5 years of metals sales experience, proficiency with SAP and Salesforce, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of sales experience in metals service center行业 or related industrial sales background.
• Proficiency with MS Office; SAP and Salesforce.com experience are highly desired.
• Strong business acumen with excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with key contacts and purchasing decision makers to grow trusted partnerships.
• Collaborate with inside sales, credit, inventory, and other departments to meet objectives.
• Provide market intelligence to sales management to shape pricing and service strategies.
• Increase revenue from assigned customers through value-added services and transactional growth.
• Manage accounts, MoUs, margin analyses, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote e-commerce capabilities and develop appropriate sales programs.
• Maintain daily call planning and inform customers about industry trends and Ryerson capabilities.
