Job summary

Silver Rice at Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn is hiring a Quick Service Restaurant Manager for dinner shifts. This full-time role (40 hours/week) is in a counter-service sushi shop delivering authentic Japanese flavors with a modern Brooklyn twist.

You will undergo staged training, starting with FOH roles (Receiver, Packer, Expeditor) and progressing to Shift Leader, where you will supervise daily operations, scheduling, and team performance while maintaining service quality.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Flexible availability, including weekdays and weekends
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in hospitality (preferred)
• Food Protection Certificate (can be obtained during FOH training, but required for Shift Leader promotion)

Responsibilities

• Stage 1: FOH Training — Train in Receiver, Packer, and Expeditor roles.
• Stage 2: Shift Leader — Lead and support team members, supervise daily operations, manage scheduling, training and performance.
• Ensure smooth and efficient service and maintain store standards and customer satisfaction.
