Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a seasoned Restaurant General Manager for a high-volume QSR in the Cleveland area. The role requires hands-on leadership to drive guest satisfaction, maintain brand standards, and optimize profitability.

Qualifications

• Previous General Manager experience in QSR operations is required.
• Experience with established QSR brands such as Burger King, McDonald's, Wendy's, Taco Bell, KFC, Popeyes, or similar concepts preferred.
• Proven experience managing restaurant P&L, food costs, labor costs, and operational performance.
• Strong understanding of drive-thru operations, speed of service, food safety, and brand compliance.
• Demonstrated success recruiting, training, and retaining restaurant employees.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Hands-on management style with the ability to perform multiple restaurant functions.
• Stable employment history and demonstrated career progression preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a high-volume QSR location, ensuring speed, accuracy, food quality, and exceptional guest service.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, labor costs, food costs, inventory, and controllable expenses.
• Take ownership of restaurant financial performance, including P&L management and profitability.
• Drive sales, operational efficiency, speed of service, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and brand operating standards.
• Lead from the floor, working alongside the team during busy shifts and peak service periods.
• Develop future shift leaders and assistant managers while building a strong team culture.
