Job summary

Ashland High School is seeking a QSA Student Affinity Group Advisor for a temporary role. The advisor will organize safe, inclusive affinity group meetings and coordinate with school administrators.

The position starts 08/31/2026 and focuses on building a supportive space for students identifying with or allied to diverse groups. The role requires strong facilitation and collaboration with district and regional staff to ensure meaningful group activities and confidentiality are maintained

Qualifications

• Experience working with student affinity or diversity groups preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information and build a safe space.
• Ability to coordinate meetings and communicate with school staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly affinity group meetings and ensure 150 minutes of meeting time per month.
• Draft and send invitations to potential student participants with confidentiality in mind.
• Oversee materials budgeting and purchase processes for group activities.
• Collaborate with school administrators and regional partners to support group goals.
• Represent the group professionally to staff, families, and the community.
