Job summary

Verify, Inc. seeks a QMS Auditor to perform a one-day ISO 9001 audit of the Quality Management System, including HSE and Ethics & Compliance, to verify effectiveness and evidence of continual improvement.

The auditor will conduct examinations against the ISO9001 standard, identify major/minor findings and observations, and report results to the customer via a web application, with corrective actions reviewed for effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Five external audits in the past year to ISO9001 or AS9100.
• QMS auditor training with lead auditor certification (RAB or ASQ).
• Experience with special processes (fabrication, machining, foundry).
• Knowledge of 8D, 5 why, DMAIC for root cause analysis.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Overview

QMS Auditor - ISO9001 Certified Lead Auditor

Position: QMS Audit

Location: UT in the USA

Duration: 1 day

Frequency: one shot

• The auditor will perform examination of the Quality Management System (QMS), HSE, Ethics & Compliance and its various elements and procedures in order to ensure its effectiveness, including observing evidence of continuous improvement.
• Perform audits based on the latest ISO9000 standard.
• The ability to identify major findings, minor findings, observations, and report information directly to the customer via web application.
• Experience initiating, reviewing and approval of corrective action responses and evaluate effectiveness of implemented corrective action(s).

• Successful completion of at least five external audits in the past year to the ISO9001 or AS9100 standard.
• Completion of QMS auditor training course with a recognized lead auditor Certification (RAB or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor).
• Must have special processes experiences (e.g Fabrication, machining, foundry, etc)
• Knowledge and experience using structured Root Cause Analysis tools and techniques like 8D, five whys and DMAIC.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Must have proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel.
