Job summary

Arrowhead Orthopaedics seeks a diligent QME Master Scheduler to oversee a high-volume calendar of QMEs, IMEs, and AMEs. You will act as the primary gatekeeper among injured workers, attorneys, insurers, and medical evaluators, handling confidential files with discretion and professionalism.

The role requires strong computer skills, accurate scheduling, and clear communication with patients, providers, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and WordPerfect.
• Strong analytical and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with patients and staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Well-versed in medical terminology; bilingual is a plus.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Manage cancellations and reschedules for med-legal appointments.
• Coordinate physician availability with Clinic Master Coordinator.
• Send notices regarding reschedules and prepare ECW letters.
• Review and update provider schedules and locations.
• Open QME dates and communicate with relevant parties.
• Call patients to confirm QME appointments daily.
• Identify travel times and assist with scheduling logistics.
