Job summary

Woodland Estates Senior Living in Denver, CO is hiring a Medication Aide to administer medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and facility policies. You will document medication administration and order supplies as needed, while maintaining accurate records in the eMAR system.

Additionally, you will observe residents, report changes to the Clinical Wellness Manager, assist with ADLs, take vital signs, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Dementia training completed or willingness to complete.
• Experience working with seniors and medication administration qualification.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication to identified residents according to state regulations.
• Complete medication administration documentation per policies.
• Order medications and supplies as needed.
• Report problems or errors to Clinical Wellness Manager.
• Record incidents, errors, or accidents in the eMAR system.
• Observe changes in residents and report to Clinical Wellness Manager.
• Take resident vital signs as directed.
• Assist residents with ADLs as outlined in care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and disasters.
• Plan and complete duties with minimal supervision.
