Job summary

Hover Senior Living Community in Longmont, CO is seeking a Medication Aide to assist with medication administration, ensure secure storage, and monitor resident responses according to state regulations.

You will document in the Electronic Health Record, participate in interdisciplinary teams, and support dignity and independence for residents while maintaining pristine medication areas.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English and follow written and verbal instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• QMAP certification required by Colorado regulations.
• CPR certification must remain current during employment.
• First aid certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in a senior care/healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with prescribed medications and observe responses.
• Maintain and secure medication room and carts; audit meds.
• Record vital signs and document changes in the MAR/EHR as directed.
• Document and report changes in resident condition in the EHR.
• Provide hands-on resident care with dignity and independence, following care plans.
