Job Description

We are seeking talented Qmap/Caregiver to join our luxury senior living community, Balfour at Riverfront Park, located in one of the trendiest areas of downtown Denver. Here, our residents enjoy a full continuum of care paired with our signature amenities and services. We are committed to a work environment of integrity, respect, and a customer focus.

Schedule: PRN

Pay: $20-$21/Hr

The Qmap/Caregiver administers resident medication or assists residents with self-administration of medication and coordinates treatments. Provides assistance with activities of daily living while encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.

What will I do every day?
  1. Observe residents for any changes in condition and report to Care Services Director, Resident Care Coordinator (RCC)/Dementia Care Coordinator (DCC), or appropriate physician.
  2. Assist residents with simple requests as needed or find an appropriate associate to assist.
  3. Learn resident preferences to provide exemplary customer service, exceed expectations, and enhance satisfaction.
  4. Document and report changes of condition using company forms for resident care documentation.
  5. Provide medication setup and assistance, verify physician’s orders, and communicate concerns immediately.
  6. Track all medications, re-order as needed, and ensure proper medication management.
  7. Perform tasks with residents such as tracking vital signs, weight, diabetic testing, insulin injections (if allowed), ambulation, and general activities.
  8. Follow all regulatory and company policies regarding medication destruction and discontinuation.
  9. Support, lead, and participate in resident-centered wellness programs.
  10. Maintain each resident’s self-respect, dignity, and safety.
  11. Assist resident assistants as needed and when primary tasks are completed.
  12. Track supplies needed and communicate with the Care Services Director or RCC/DCC.
  13. Work as part of the team within your department and across the community, supporting open communication.
  14. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag.
  15. Identify ways to reduce costs and improve efficiencies daily.
  16. Ensure regulatory compliance and report issues immediately.
  17. Support continuous improvement and adhere to all regulations, laws, and company standards.
  18. Understand and support the community sales process.
  19. Perform other related duties as required.

Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
  • Must be 21 years of age (or meet state requirements).

  • Knowledge of regulations related to residence monitoring and licensing.
  • Basic competency in technology, including Microsoft Office, internet-based, and custom applications.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
