We are seeking talented Qmap/Caregiver to join our luxury senior living community, Balfour at Riverfront Park, located in one of the trendiest areas of downtown Denver. Schedule: PRN
Pay: $20-$21/Hr
The Qmap/Caregiver administers resident medication or assists residents with self-administration of medication and coordinates treatments to residents. Provides assistance with activities of daily living while encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.
What will I do every day?
- Observe residents for any changes in condition and report to Care Services Director, Care Coordinator (RCC)/Dementia Care Coordinator (DCC), or appropriate physician
- Assist residents with simple requests as needed or find an appropriate associate to assist
- Learn resident preferences to provide exemplary customer service, exceed resident expectations, and enhance satisfaction
- Document and report changes of condition using company forms for resident care documentation
- Provide medication setup and assistance, log medications from pharmacies, verify physician’s orders, and communicate concerns immediately
- Track all medications and re-order as needed
- Perform tasks with residents: monitor vital signs, weight, diabetic testing, insulin injections (if allowed), ambulation, and activities
- Follow all policies regarding medication destruction and documentation of discontinued medications
- Support resident wellness programs and work to maintain residents’ self-respect, dignity, and safety
- Assist resident assistants as needed, track supplies, and communicate needs to the Care Services Director or RCC/DCC
- Work collaboratively within your department and community, support open communication, and maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Look for ways to reduce costs, create efficiencies, ensure regulatory compliance, and support continuous improvement
- Adhere to all regulations, laws, and company standards, including the Associate Handbook
- Support the community sales process and perform other duties as required

Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
- Must be 21 years of age (or meet state requirements)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Completed required training or certification for medication assistance (according to state)
- Knowledge of pertinent regulations for monitoring and licensing of the residence
- Basic competency in technology, including Microsoft Office, internet, and custom applications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
