Job summary

Heritage Park is seeking a Weekend Option QMA in Fort Wayne, IN to provide compassionate resident care and accurate medication administration during 6pm to 6am shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

You will support the care team, onboard new teammates, and respond promptly to alarms while maintaining safety and quality patient care. This role offers benefits and opportunities within American Senior Communities.

Qualifications

• Requires state-approved training in medication administration.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Active QMA Certification is required.
• Position requires passing annual medication evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents with compassion and professionalism.

• Prepare and administer medications in a timely, accurate manner.
• Respond promptly to call lights and alarms to ensure resident safety.

What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?

• Making a difference in the lives of the patients we serve by providing them care and compassion.
• Acting as a positive teammate to fellow employees by helping onboard new teammates.
• You will promote the health and well-being our residents by preparing and administering medication in a timely and professional manner.
• Answer call lights, bed/chair sensors, pull-pin alarms, and security care bracelet alarms promptly and courteously.

Requirements

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.
• Successful completion of a state approved training program in medication administration.
• Must complete annual medication evaluation with Registered Pharmacy Consultant or designee.
• Current CPR Certification
• Current active QMA Certification
