Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana invites applications for Adjunct Faculty positions. These temporary, part-time roles are recruited each semester to teach assigned courses and create a learning environment aligned with College syllabi.

Responsibilities include instruction, syllabus delivery, attendance and grading records, and supporting students with timely feedback. Candidates must meet minimum qualifications including RN licensure in Indiana and an Indiana QMA instructor course.

Qualifications

• Earned associate’s or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Licensed Registered Nurse with an unencumbered Indiana license.
• Minimum of two years licensed nursing experience, with at least one year in long-term care.
• Completed the Indiana state department of health instructor QMA course.

Responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes and provide syllabus appropriate to the course.
• Maintain student attendance and grading records per College policy.
• Be available to students outside scheduled class time to answer questions and support learning.
