Job summary

Bridgewater Healthcare Center in Carmel, IN is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to provide routine medication administration and personal care for residents, ensuring safety and quality of care. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, and be a graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter one and pass state tests within 120 days.

Experience in healthcare is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter and graduate within 120 days and pass state test.
• Understanding of medication administration procedures and related training.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer medication per physician orders and state/federal regulations.
• Chart routine medications and document PRN meds and observations.
• Maintain medication inventory and provide resident personal care as needed.
• Attend training and follow center policies and safety standards.
