Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a QHSE Technician for the Hollis Creek project to support Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental programs on site. You will conduct daily inspections, help implement QHSE plans, and deliver safety trainings to site personnel.

You will investigate incidents, maintain records, monitor regulatory compliance, and collaborate to promote a strong safety culture while ensuring proper PPE use and participation in drills and audits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; related degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of QHSE experience in construction, energy, or industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; able to train others.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and non-compliance.
  • Assist in development and enforcement of site QHSE plans and procedures.
  • Deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks.
  • Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
  • Maintain QHSE documentation and records (permits, inspections, trainings).
  • Monitor environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
  • Promote safety culture through collaboration with management and workers.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment.
  • Participate in emergency drills and actual emergencies; support audits.

Job Overview:Job Summary**The QHSE Technician at Primoris Services Corporation will support the implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental programs at the Hollis Creek project site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.Job Responsibilities**Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues related to QHSE.Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of site-specific QHSE plans and procedures.Deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks to site personnel.Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.Maintain accurate records of QHSE documentation, including permits, inspections, training, and incident reports.Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and company sustainability initiatives.Collaborate with project management, supervisors, and employees to promote a strong safety culture.Ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).Participate in emergency response drills and actual emergency situations.Provide support during QHSE audits and assessments.Job Qualifications**High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.2+ years of experience in a QHSE role, preferably within the construction, energy, or industrial sectors.Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local QHSE regulations.Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Ability to conduct effective training sessions.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.Certifications such as OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR, or HAZWOPER are a plus.Company Overview:Primoris Renewable Energy, a business within Primoris Services Corporation’s Energy segment, is a leading power generation engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) provider specializing in utility and commercial scale solar power, energy storage, solar repower, and operations and maintenance.
