Job description

Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. (NYSE:SEI) provides scalable equipment-based solutions for use in distributed power generation as well as the management of raw materials used in the completion of oil and natural gas wells. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Solaris serves multiple U.S. end markets, including energy, data centers, and other commercial and industrial sectors. Through the Global Energy Services Alliance (GESA), Solaris also provides power generation services and equipment support across more than 40 countries on four continents.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to lead safety and quality programs supporting GESA's global power generation service operations, based out of our Corpus Christi, TX office and shop. This role owns the QHSE function for the GESA business line, directly leading safety and quality focused employees, and ensuring consistent safety, health, environmental, and quality standards across shop/fabrication activities and field deployments within the USA and in support of international activities by the US based employees.

The role is split between the Corpus Christi office and shop (approximately 70% of time) and travel to support field operations, both domestic and international (approximately 30% of time). Because GESA's model relies on U.S.-based employees performing work assignments abroad, this role is also expected to support the safety, security, and health readiness of those international assignments, coordinating pre-deployment planning, travel risk awareness, and in-country field support. The ideal candidate brings strong QHSE leadership experience, familiarity with international operations and travel risk/security considerations, and a proven ability to build and lead direct-report teams.

Essential Functions
  • Lead and manage the QHSE function for GESA's business line, directly supervising full-time safety and quality employees, setting performance goals and supporting their professional development.
  • Own the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety and quality management systems across Corpus Christi shop/fabrication operations and field service locations.
  • Support and coordinate international field operations, including pre-deployment safety and security planning, travel risk assessments, and tropical/subtropical health guidance for U.S.-based employees performing work abroad.
  • Partner with corporate QHSE, security, and international support vendors (e.g., travel security and medical assistance providers) to ensure traveling employees are properly prepared and supported in the field.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable host-country regulations, ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 45001 (Safety), and ISO 14001 (Environmental) standards, and other regulatory and industry requirements across GESA's multi-country footprint.
  • Conduct and oversee risk assessments and job hazard analyses for shop, fabrication, and field service activities, identifying and mitigating hazards specific to power generation equipment, high-voltage systems, and international field conditions.
  • Lead safety and quality incident investigations across domestic and international sites, performing root cause analysis, driving corrective and preventive actions, and reporting findings to QHSE leadership.
  • Manage internal and external audit readiness, including coordination of third-party certification audits and surveillance assessments.
  • Develop and deliver QHSE training for shop personnel, field technicians, and traveling employees, covering topics such as PPE, electrical safety, quality inspection standards, and international travel safety.
  • Establish and monitor QHSE KPIs and scorecards for the GESA business line, tracking leading and lagging indicators and reporting trends to leadership.
  • Ensure quality control standards are maintained for equipment fabrication, assembly, and field commissioning activities, partnering with Manufacturing and Power Solutions operations teams.
  • Promote a proactive safety and quality culture through employee engagement, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives across a globally dispersed workforce.
Experience/Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Quality, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7–10 years of QHSE experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role with direct reports, ideally within power generation, industrial fabrication, or field services.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating international operations or a traveling workforce strongly preferred; familiarity with international travel security and medical assistance providers is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 management systems; valid safety and/or quality certifications (e.g., CSP, CQE, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and familiarity with international health and safety regulatory frameworks.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally, including to tropical/subtropical regions, as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QHSE/quality management information systems for reporting, data analysis, and program management.
  • Ability to work in dynamic shop, field, and international environments; flexibility for non-traditional hours to support global operations and emergency response.
