Job summary

Citi is hiring a VP, Quality Engineering Lead to define and drive automated data and report testing across our AI-powered data ecosystem. You will lead QE initiatives for data virtualization, federation, and data contract testing, while ensuring secure and performant data delivery.

You will manage a team of quality engineers, establish standards, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure high-quality analytics and reporting. Hybrid work in Pune, India is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–12 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or data engineering.
• Experience leading QA within data virtualization, federated queries, BI/reporting, and AI-enabled interfaces.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive end-to-end automated testing strategy for data & reporting platforms.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Data & Report Quality Engineers; establish QE standards and governance.
• Validate data virtualization, federation, data contracts, and data security/testing protocols.
• Test AI/conversational interfaces, NLP-to-SQL translation, and data reconciliation for reports.
• Drive CI/CD integration of automated data test suites and defect triage processes.
