Position Summary

The QCI Technician is responsible for executing the daily Quality Control Inspection (QCI) process to ensure equipment shipped to dealer locations meets the highest quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail while maintaining efficient turnaround times for outbound equipment. The position involves a variety of mechanical and general labor tasks performed primarily within a warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic maintenance, quality control inspections (QCI), equipment assembly, and light repairs on material handling equipment, including LP, gas, diesel, and electric systems.
  • Inspect newly received equipment to identify any maintenance, repair, or corrective actions required and complete those actions as needed.
  • Conduct final inspections of all outgoing equipment to ensure compliance with company quality standards and perform any necessary final repairs or adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate logs, records, and reports related to inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities for equipment and parts as required.
  • Support warehouse operations, including stocking, inventory management, order picking, and maintaining an organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED; Associate degree or technical certification in Diesel Technology, Automotive Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-3+ years of previous experience performing quality control inspections (QCI) or pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on forklifts or other material handling equipment.

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills for maintaining inspection and service records.
  • Willingness to learn new equipment technologies and participate in ongoing training.
  • Forklift certified as well as maintaining

  • Experience using ERP, service management, or inspection reporting software.
