Job summary
Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to perform quality control tests on the product line in accordance with local and national standards.
The role requires reporting results, analyzing data, and supporting material performance initiatives across Amrize plants in the region. The candidate will enforce safety policies, assist with calibration of lab and field testing equipment, and contribute to continuous quality improvements while working with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Quality control tests and data analysis
- Strong emphasis on safety standards and procedures
- Experience with troubleshooting quality issues
Responsibilities
- Observe and enforce all Amrize safety standards, advisories, and policies.
- Be a responsible advocate for on-the-job safety and the environment.
- Assist with development, administration, implementation and documentation of material control plans and related quality data.
- Perform service, repair, and calibration of testing equipment.
- Maintain QA/test databases and provide report summaries or analyses.
- Learn basic operations of cement, asphalt or aggregate plants.
- Provide troubleshooting guidance for customers.
- Provide material performance support for all plants in the area.
- Recommend plant changes to ensure conformance.
- Assist Plant Supervisors and Managers as required.
- Work with minimal supervision (20–30% without direct supervision).
