Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Control Technician II in Canon City, CO to collect samples and perform quality-control testing. You will report results to management and support production staff, ensuring product quality across residential and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of aggregate industry experience, travels to sites as needed, and joins a team focused on accurate testing, data analysis, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure testing is conducted efficiently and consistently to yield accurate results.
• Prepare documents with test results for production personnel and QC management.
• Maintain mix designs as required by DOT or local specifications to ensure product accuracy.
• Ensure safety, compliance and environmental requirements are followed.
• Examine laboratory samples to determine physical properties and perform requisite tests.
• Record, analyze, certify and summarize findings; maintain test-result records in databases; provide technical support.
• Assist in investigation, testing and sampling of raw materials and finished products to resolve quality issues.
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety and environmental policies and promote safety culture.
• Perform statistical analysis, prepare reports and maintain department records.
