Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking a quality control technician to sample, test, and inspect construction materials in lab or field settings. You will ensure compliance with supplier and owner specifications and support inspection teams in daily QA activities.

Responsibilities include testing at production stages, interpreting drawings, collecting samples, and maintaining QC logs. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are expected; OSHA safety policies apply.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related experience required.
• Basic computer skills; intermediate Excel.

Responsibilities

• Tests and inspects products at various stages and analyzes data to ensure quality.
• Interprets specifications and discusses requirements with crew and inspection staff.
• Collects material samples and communicates test results to teams.
• Maintains QC logs and reports per specifications.
