Job summary

Turner Industries in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Quality Control Technician for a maintenance role. You will coordinate the quality control program and perform inspections and tests to ensure products meet established standards, supporting continuous production.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma, 5–7 years of experience, a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification, and the ability to read isometric diagrams, PIDs and CAD drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of experience in quality control or related field.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
• Knowledge of coordinating NDE.
• Welding background preferred.
• Ability to read isometric diagrams, PIDs, CAD drawings, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of the company quality control program and procedures.
• Performs inspections and witnesses tests to determine acceptability of work.
• Maintains quality control records and documents.
• Defines corrective measures and ensures implementation.
• Ensures compliance with QA/QC requirements and safety policies.
